Winter Virtual Games Registration Opens
Registration for the Winter Virtual Games has officially opened. The inaugural Winter edition of the Virtual Games features thirteen sports. All registrants will receive a Virtual Games t-shirt and submitted results will be displayed on a virtual leaderboard.
Sports Lineup: Archery, Cross Country Skiing, Disc Golf, Fatbike, Ice Fishing, Rowing, Run-Walk, Shooting Sports, Snowshoe, Stacking, Swimming, Weightlifting and X-Golf.
The cost to register for the Winter Virtual Games is $20 until December 31. Starting January 1 the cost will be $25. The majority of events run January 1 to March 1.
Meijer State Games of Michigan gold medals will be awarded to all participants in archery, disc golf, fatbike, ice fishing, rowing, run-walk, shooting sports, snowshoe, swimming, weightlifting and cross country skiing. Meijer State Games of Michigan gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded for first, second and third place for X-Golf and sport stacking.
X-Golf and Sport Stacking make their Meijer State Games of Michigan debut in the Virtual Games.

X-Golf will have 3 divisions and take place at the Grand Rapids X-Golf location in February 2021. Registration price includes the cost of (bay/hours/holes/etc.). Golfers will be golfing the front nine of the Kapalua Golf Course in Hawaii.
Sport Stacking will take place via Zoom on February 13, 2021 The competition will feature three divisions: individual, double and relay. The competition is hosted by the World Sport Stacking Association.
COVID-19 concerns continue in Michigan making it difficult for many athletes to compete in their sports. The Virtual Games offers a way for athletes to compete alone, with just their household or in smaller, socially distant groups. The Virtual Winter Games will be in addition to the traditional Winter Games, which will open registration in December and be held in February.
